Registration is open Greatest Golfer. This is the 14th year of this epic amateur golf tournament based in Youngstown, Ohio and featuring 14 divisions for men and women.

Farmers Greatest has a home for players from scratch to 24 handicap in this Pro-like, no gimmes, gross scoring test of golf.

The rate of $179 covers 36 holes of golf, carts, range, lunch and player gifts — AND a chance to “Make The Lake” and play free in the Sunday Finals at The Lake Club — our all-time championship home since 2010.

No other amateur golf event in the Great Lakes caters to as many golfers as Greatest Golfer does — playing at the finest private courses in northeast Ohio and featuring more than $20,000 in gifts and prizes.

In 2022, a record 350 players competed, with another 20 players left on the waiting list. The Greatest Golfer debuted in 2010 with just 97 players in 5 divisions.

Expanded course offerings are featured in 2023 due to the 2022 record demand for Greatest.

Highlighting the new offerings in 2023:

— We have more than $20,000 in gifts and prizes from Farmers National Bank and more than 15 division sponsors.

— $100 Championship Sunday Medalist honors for EVERY division, hosted by Zabel’s Restaurant Equipment and Supplies. If you’re not in the title hunt, your low score still can net a CASH prize.

— All new Seniors Divisions for better competition. Players 60 and above can now compete in Open, 3-6 hcap, 7-9, 10-12 and 13+ divisions.

— New courses added with Avalon Buhl, Pine Lakes and Salem Hills. They join our traditional lineup of Youngstown Country Club, Tippecanoe Country Club, Avalon Lakes, Trumbull Country Club and our always first-day home: Mill Creek Golf Course – a Donald Ross 36-hole design, and The Lake Club.

— Additional beverage sponsor with Michelob Ultra.

— Par 3 pin prizes at ALL 10 Fri & Sat courses.

— We start as always with a free and fun warmup night Wednesday, Aug. 9 at the Morgan Stanley All Stars of Greatest Long Drive/Par 3 at Tippecanoe CC, presented by Simon Roofing and Michelob Ultra

Play opens Friday with Opening Day salutes from #1 Cochran Chevrolet Buick GMC and Michelob Ultra.

The Sunday Championship hosted by HBK Consultants and Kufleitner Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram again features our Miller Lite Last Hole Party at No. 9 along Lake Evans, with food, drinks, music and the best players bringing it home at The Lake Club.
