5 champs in Greatest’s Belleria Truly weekend 2-players

The Greatest Golfer wrapped up its first Belleria Pizza – Truly Hard Seltzer Spring Series with a double dose of 2-player events Saturday and Sunday with more than 100 players taking part.

There were 5 First Places over the 2 days.

Riverview’s Corey Hines and John Franks shot 65 Sunday at Salem Golf Club to capture their second Belleria 2-player title — having won last summer at Riverview. Their 65 was the weekend’s best score. Asked who’s in charge to lead to team success, Corey said “John,” and John said “Corey.”

Longtime Greatest standout Katie Rogner paired with her dad, Jeff, and they won Sunday’s B Flight with a 74.

In Saturday’s event at Links at Firestone Farms, Joe Cubellis and Joe Bordonaro from Pittsburgh won A Flight with a 68.

Flight B victors were brothers Billy and Charles Loomis with a 67. Flight C champs were Tyler Stanley and Ash Alejars.

The spring series was a season start to set the stage for the 13th annual season-ending championship in August — The Farmers National Bank 54-hole tourney. Register here for that event.

Here are Sunday’s and Saturday’s scores.
