Aces at Mill & Myrtle Beach
The cooling of fall is still delayed as the golf is staying hot with more hole-in-ones around The Greatest Golfer. At Mill Creek Golf Course South Course, the aces continue. We’re nearing 10 since Labor Day. On South’s No. 17, American Junior Golf Association player Nick Pace of Richmond, Va., used an 8-iron to best the 150-yard hole. Way south of the South Course — in Myrtle Beach actually — Greatest Golfer auxilliary staffer Bob Lewis was playing the International Club of Myrtle Beach for his ace. On Hole 6 in the Murrells Inlet Moose Lodge tourney, Lewis blazed a 7-wood for 144 yards to score a 1. Witnessing were Kelly and John Hartigan and Kevin Ireland.
