The Greatest Golfer
Golf has eagles. Golf has birdies.
Greatest Golfer has Beez!
The Greatest Golfer would like to introduce one of our newest sponsors, Fizzy Beez, the latest and greatest sparkling cocktail.
Fizzy Beez is owned by one of the greatest female golfers of all time, the Queen Bee herself, Annika Sorenstam. Annika and her husband, Mike McGee, got to mixing and tasting drinks during the Covid lockdown and eventually created four classic cocktails with a touch of pure honey.
Annika asked her pickleball pal, Kathy Johanson, to join the hive. Together, the three beez took off earlier this year, and they will be a 2022 Greatest sponsor.
Fizzy Beez first launched their line of products here in Ohio. Annika said it felt “meant to be” since Mike is from here in East Palestine, Ohio. Fizzy Beez currently has four flavors: Cosmo, Margarita, Mojito, and Moscow Mule. Local company Superior Beverage partnered up with Fizzy Beez and started distributing their products this past March.
While many golfers know the name of Sorenstam, Fizzy Beez is still in the works of becoming a big hit “golf cocktail”.
Fizzy Beez is available for purchase here in Ohio. Local places like The Bunker, Avalon Inn, Downtown Circle and Patio, and many courses, The Lake Club, Knoll Run, Reserve Run, and Old Avalon.
They will be a brand sponsor for Greatest’s 54-hole event in August and directly sponsor the Ladies Lo-Handicap division.

She also holds the record of winning eight Rolex Player of the Year honors and is the only woman to break 60 in an official event.
