Bombs fly Wednesday night at Morgan Stanley Long Drive
The 2021 Greatest Golfer week is here, and it launches Wednesday with the 2021 Morgan Stanley / The Waypoint Group Greatest Long Drive & Par 3 Shootout Under the Lights.
The annual Wednesday event has become a traditional launch to the 54-hole Farmers National Bank Greatest stroke play tourney that starts Friday.
The Valley’s biggest and best hitters will swing away Wednesday, Aug. 11 at Tippecanoe Country Club. The show starts after 6 p.m.
We will award Ladies and Mens winners in Long Drive and one champ in the Par 3. Prizes are sponsored by Tippecanoe and Golf Headquarters.
The long drive event features a past-champs slug fest.
Three of the ladies competitors are all past champs.
Last year’s mens finalists Ken Keller and Griffin Todd will get a reset. (Photo above. Keller won on a final shot.)
But past champs Nick Braydich, Patsy Daltorio and Ryan Monahan will ensure it’s not a cakewalk to 330+ yards.
