Chandler, Rohan knock down aces

George Rohan (left in photo) and Gary Chandler own the first aces of the 2020 season at The Lake Club. On March 15, Chandler tackled Hole No. 5 at Lake, and struck a 7-iron from 143 yards into the hole. Watching that magical ball flight in disbelief was Dwight Pavkovich. Rohan’s blessed roll happened on April 25. It was on the devilish Hole No. 9. Rohan beast-moded a 9-iron from 155 yards. Along for the party that day was Greatest Golfer Tom Klim, Greatest Golfer staffer Jim Phillips and everybody’s buddy Nick DeCesare. He wasn’t quiet after that ace.
