Greatest Day of Golf event July 20 raises funds for BGCY

YOUNGSTOWN — The Greatest Day of Golf will make its debut July 20 to raise money for The Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown. This first-of-its-kind local event will feature more than 12 Valley young adults who will golf from sunrise to sunset — targeting 120 holes — to raise money for BGCY. CLICK HERE FOR DONATE PAGE Caprice Health Care Centers is sponsoring the event. Trumbull Country Club will host the event. The Greatest Golfer is producing the event. Funds will be earned via the players raising pledges based on the number of holes they will play in this sprint-golf format. Donation information is on TheGreatestGolfer.com starting Wednesday. Youngstown State University golfer Ken Keller is managing the event launch for The Greatest Golfer. The first-year players include a mix of Valley young golf leaders, including Brandon Pluchinsky, South Range/YSU, Joe Cilone, East Liverpool/West Liberty, Jenna Jacobson, Poland/YSU, Hadley Spielvogel, Cardinal Mooney/YSU, Nick Braydich, Cardinal Mooney/Ohio Wesleyan, Rebell Strollo, Mooney/OSU, Joe Shushok Austintown/YSU, Brian Velasquez, Poland/Miami University, Zach Jacobson, Poland/YSU, Nolan Snyder, Western Reserve/YSU, Peyton Snyder, Western Reserve, Bobby Jonda, Boardman/YSU, Brendan Glosser, Poland/YSU and Nick Hough, Cardinal Mooney/YSU.
