The Greatest Golfer is thrilled to launch the inaugural Belleria Pizza 2-player Shootouts presented by OnCore Golf.
The new adult series will welcome three awesome public courses to the Greatest family — Links at Firestone Farms, Riverview Golf Course and Yankee Run Golf Course.
The 3 events start Saturday, May 15 at Firestone. Riverview will play host in July; Yankee Run in September. Players can play in any event or all three, and with different player pairings. (Dates, times below)
Each event promises a minimum cash payout of $1,500 and as high as $3,000 based on turnout. These are Men & Women Adult events.
Registration is on TheGreatestGolfer.com. It is $85/player for golf, cart and prizes.
Rules include:
All players must have a handicap. Maximum individual handicap is 18. Players with no provable number must play scratch.
Teammates must be within 8 handicap strokes of one another. If not, the higher
handicap will capped at 8 strokes from their partner.
The event will use 80% of a player’s handicap.
Play will be from the Men’s tees; men aged 60+ may elect to play from the Senior tees. All ladies will play from the Ladies tees.
There will be cash prizes based on size. Flights A, B and C will be created if enough teams register.
In addition, gross champs will win entry into the Farmers National Bank Greatest Golfer 54-hole tourney, Aug. 13-15.
