Fowler gets an ace at Trumbull Country Club

With a driver, Terry Fowler scored an ace at Trumbull Country Club … after a bit of debate. Playing No. 8 with Jack Meola, Ryan Altobelli and John Ruberto, Fowler laced a 225-yard drive. A beautiful hit. But from the tee box, there was some noodling about if it was in. A foam pool noodle used to Covid-cap the hole kept the ball showing. Alas, when the lads got to the hole, it was clearly aced. Getting an ace with a driver is a tale not often told. Enjoy it, Mr. Fowler. Well played.
