The 9th annual Morgan Stanley/Simon Roofing Long Drive and Par 3 Skills Challenge is set for Wednesday night at Tippecanoe Country Club.
The fun blast of golf serves as a set up to the Friday start of the record-breaking 13th year of the Farmers National Bank Greatest Golfer 54-hole tourney. More than 340 players will tee off.
Wednesday’s Long Drive and Par 3 shootout features a collection of the Valley’s best players and past champions. It is free and open to the public to watch.
• The general times for the night are:
Men Prelims, 6:15-7:30, all players hit;
Women Championship round, 7:30 p.m.;
Men Championship Round, 7:45 p.m.;
Par 3 Under the Lights, 8:30 p.m. sponsored by Valley Industrial Trucks.
